We collect the following types of information when you use SimpleLine:

• Account information: your name and email address, obtained through Google OAuth authentication
• Database connection credentials: host, port, username, password, and database name, encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption
• Query history: the natural language questions you ask and the SQL queries generated and executed
• Saved queries and bookmarks: queries you explicitly save for future use
• Usage data: features accessed, query counts, connection activity, and general interaction patterns
• Payment information: billing details processed securely by Stripe — SimpleLine never stores your credit card numbers

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and operate the SimpleLine platform, generate AI-powered SQL queries and recommendations using your database schema, process payments and manage subscriptions, improve the platform through aggregated usage analytics, communicate with you about your account and service updates, and maintain security and prevent abuse.

3. Third-Party Services

SimpleLine integrates with the following third-party services to deliver our platform:

• Supabase: authentication and application data storage
• Stripe: payment processing and subscription management
• Anthropic (Claude API): AI-powered query generation and analysis — we send database schema metadata to generate SQL, but never send your actual row-level data
• Google: OAuth authentication for account sign-in
• Google Analytics: anonymized usage tracking to improve the platform

4. Data Security

We take data security seriously. Database connection credentials are encrypted at rest. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL). Queries run in read-only mode by default, and write mode requires explicit user opt-in. Access to production systems is restricted and monitored.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide our services. Query history and saved queries are stored as part of your account. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data and stored credentials within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and associated data, export your saved queries and query history, and withdraw consent for data processing where applicable. 7. Cookies

SimpleLine uses a limited number of cookies to operate the platform: session cookies for authentication, a language preference cookie to remember your selected language, and analytics cookies via Google Analytics. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

SimpleLine is not designed for or directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. International Data

SimpleLine may process data in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. By using the platform, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or via email. Your continued use of SimpleLine after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
