These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SimpleLine.ai, operated by SimpleLine. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Description of Service
SimpleLine is an AI-powered database management and intelligence platform. It allows users to connect PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, query them using natural language, visualize results, explore schemas, and manage data through a web-based interface. The platform uses artificial intelligence to generate SQL queries, provide performance recommendations, detect patterns, and explain query behavior.
2. Account Terms
You must sign in using Google OAuth to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and must not create accounts on behalf of others without their permission. SimpleLine reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Database Connections
SimpleLine allows you to connect external databases by providing connection credentials. These credentials are encrypted at rest and transmitted over secure connections. By default, all queries execute in read-only mode. Write mode must be explicitly enabled on a per-connection basis. You are solely responsible for the databases you connect, the data they contain, and ensuring you have authorization to access them.
4. Subscription and Billing
SimpleLine offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. The Pro plan is billed monthly or annually through Stripe. All prices are listed in USD. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. Upon cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. SimpleLine reserves the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
5. AI-Generated Content
SimpleLine uses AI to generate SQL queries, recommendations, and explanations based on your database schema and your natural language input. AI-generated output may contain errors or produce unexpected results. You are responsible for reviewing all generated SQL before executing it against your database. SimpleLine does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of AI-generated content.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use SimpleLine for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to other systems through the platform, to reverse-engineer or exploit the service, to circumvent usage limits or security measures, or to interfere with other users' access to the platform. Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension.
7. Intellectual Property
SimpleLine and its associated branding, design, and technology are the property of SimpleLine. You retain full ownership of your data, database credentials, queries, and any content you create through the platform. SimpleLine does not claim any rights to your data or query results.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of SimpleLine is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the service, you consent to the data practices described in the
9. Limitation of Liability
SimpleLine is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimpleLine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to SimpleLine in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. SimpleLine may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. SimpleLine may also suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period following termination.
12. Changes to These Terms
SimpleLine may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or via email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
